Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GifEmoji at chatgptgif.com handles information when you create an account, upload a photo, generate a GIF or contact us.

Account and Google sign-in

You may sign in with an emailed verification code or, when available, Google. Google sign-in requests only your basic identity: your Google account identifier, email address, email verification status, name and profile picture. We use this information to create and secure your account, identify your creations and associate purchases with you. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive files or other Google account content. OAuth credentials are processed on the server; session cookies keep you signed in.

Photos and creations

We process photos you choose to upload, template selections, prompts, captions and generated files to deliver the creation you request. Upload only material you have permission to use. Files are stored in private cloud storage and are sent to our AI and media-processing providers when needed to generate or export your creation. They are not published in a public gallery by default. Downloads and optional sharing tools let you choose what to share.

Payments and service records

Stripe processes payments on its hosted checkout pages. We retain payment references, order status, credit transactions and entitlement records; we do not store your full payment-card number. We also process technical and security records, such as request information, errors, timestamps and an anonymous browser identifier, to operate the service, prevent abuse and investigate failures.

Service providers and sharing

Our service uses Cloudflare for hosting, private storage, database services and transactional email; OpenAI for AI processing when generation is enabled; and Stripe for payments. Google handles Google authentication. These providers receive the information necessary for their respective services and may process it in countries outside your own. If you choose Telegram delivery, the selected creation and information necessary to link your Telegram request are also processed by Telegram. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect security or to handle a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information or share Google account data for advertising.

Storage and retention

Files have limited availability and may expire; the availability shown in the product applies to your creation. Keep a downloaded copy of anything you want to retain. We keep account and transaction records as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Security logs and provider backups can follow different retention schedules. Removing a photo or creation does not automatically erase legally required payment records.

Your choices and requests

You can sign out, remove available uploads and creations using the product controls, and revoke Google access through your Google Account settings. Revoking Google access does not itself delete your GifEmoji account. To request access, correction, export or deletion of your account information, contact us from the email associated with your account. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We do not claim that deleting creations automatically deletes all authentication, accounting or backup records.

Cookies, security and children

With your permission, optional analytics records visits to public pages, campaign sources, referring websites, device and browser categories, and country. We use Google Analytics and first-party reports to understand traffic and conversion. Photos, email addresses, private page addresses, query strings and creation identifiers are not sent to Google Analytics. Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject or withdraw analytics. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Refusing analytics does not affect sign-in, creations or purchases. Necessary account, payment and service-delivery records remain independent of this choice. First-party visit details are retained for up to 180 days; attribution linked to an account follows account retention.

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, anonymous creation ownership and preserving your work. Disabling them may prevent these features from working. We use access controls and private storage to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. GifEmoji is not directed to children under 13; if you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
