Questions before you start
Can I animate a rough pencil sketch?
You can try, but faint lines and notebook shadows may be interpreted as part of the character. A clean crop with stronger outlines is easier to review.
Will the drawing stay exactly the same?
AI can alter lines or proportions between frames. Review the loop carefully; this is not a hand-rigged animation with guaranteed frame-by-frame control.
