1. Use a clear face reference
Pick a well-lit portrait with the eyes, eyebrows and mouth visible. Avoid sunglasses, hands over the face and a strong side profile. If you use someone else’s image, get their consent before creating or sharing an emotional reaction with their likeness.
2. Choose the type of crying
Open the Crying workspace. Ugly cry is the exaggerated option; Smiling through tears is the lighter one. Start with the expression that fits your conversation rather than assuming one style works for every photo.
3. Check identity and motion
Watch the complete preview. Look for eyes moving unnaturally, tears covering important features or a face that no longer resembles the reference. Check the start and end of the loop as well as the most dramatic frame.
4. Share the right output
Choose an available GIF for a chat animation, or use the appropriate platform-specific sticker file. Review the result before sending it and make clear that it is an AI reaction rather than footage of a real event.
